Talk Talk's debut album 'The Party's Over' released in 1982 on EMI label. The album was compared to Duran Duran due to their similar appearance and sound producer. However, Talk Talk's unique and unclassifiable sound based on elements of jazz, classical and ambient music made them one of the most original and underrated bands of the 1980s. This album is the only one recorded by Talk Talk as a quartet, with Simon Brenner on keyboards. The album was accompanied by three singles 'Mirror Man', 'Talk Talk' and 'Today'.
